Does the GM-1 work with Rock Band 3?
Yes. The GM-1 works with the Rock Band MIDI PRO-Adapter to support full Pro-mode gameplay in Rock Band 3. Previous owners of the GM-1 can send it in for a free firmware update to support Pro-Mode.
Can I use an Omega Pedal with the GM-1?
The GM-1 System can use the Omega Pedal as the bass pedal input (with the use of an 1/8” - 1/4” adapter). However you don’t need to use an Omega Pedal, as it includes a Bass Tech Trigger to detect bass drum hits.
Do I need the Rock Band MIDI PRO-Adapter or a Guitar Hero drumset to use the GM-1?
Yes. The GM-1 System interfaces with the game console either thru the MIDI PRO-Adapter or the MIDI port on the Guitar Hero drumset with the included MIDI cable.
What type of batteries can I use in the GM-1?
Heavy Duty, Alkaline, and rechargeable batteries will all work, as long as they are charged and in good condition.
How long do the batteries last in the GM-1?
A good set of batteries should last more than a month of regular play.
