I want to use my Omega Pedal with both my Guitar Hero drumset and my Rock Band drumset. What do I need to purchase?
To use the Omega Pedal with Guitar Hero drumset, purchase the Twin Rocker for Guitar Hero. This transforms the signal to work with Guitar Hero drumset.
How long will the beater tips last?
It depends greatly on how hard you hit the pedal. Like drum heads, the more violently you hit them the shorter the life.
Will the Twin Rocker work with the ION Drum Pedal?
No. The ION drum pedal uses a very electrically bouncy switch, which can cause multiple hits. We do not support using the ION drum pedal.
Why doesn’t my pedal work if I plug it straight into the Guitar Hero drumset (no Twin Rocker)?
The Guitar Hero drumset uses a different type of signal from the drum pedal. Use our Twin Rocker for Guitar Hero to transform the signal to work with the Guitar Hero drumset.
If I buy the Rock Band pedal can I use it on the Guitar Hero drumset if I buy the Twin Rocker for Guitar Hero

My pedal hits on the way down and the way up, what is causing this?
Make sure your beater is hitting squarely as shown in the documentation. If it’s not hitting properly, the beater can go past the trigger point. To adjust this, see the question below on “How to Adjust the S-hook”.
Does the other pedal work if I hold one down while using the Twin Rocker? Or is the Twin Rocker just a splitter switch?
That is what is special about the Twin Rocker. In Rock Band, a splitter won’t register the second pedal if the first is still down. The Twin Rocker uses a microcontroller to enable both pedals to register in the game even if one is held down.
How do I mount the pedal to my Guitar Hero drumset?
The Omega Pedal does not mount on the Guitar Hero drumset, simple use the pedal freestanding.
What aftermarket pedals will the Twin Rocker work with?
We only recommend using the Omega pedal or the stock Rock Band pedal. Others may or may not work. The Twin Rocker does NOT work with hi-hat pedals such as the ION drum pedal or the Roadie Pedal.
Should I make any adjustments to the spring tension?
Spring tension adjustments can be made to adjust the stiffness and feel of the pedal to your playing style.
If I send the pedal back for a warranty repair who pays shipping?
For domestic orders, the customer pay shipping back to the factory, and Omega pays ground shipping back to the customer.
Can I pay for overnight shipping?
We offer overnight shipping within the US. Please note that it take 1-2 days to process your order prior to shipment of in-stock items. Out of stock items will take longer.
How do I replace the switch?
The instructions are included when you purchase a replacement switch kit.
Is the Double Pedal Package two Omega pedals or an actual double bass setup?
It is two Omega Pedals.
How do I adjust the S-hook? First see if it needs adjusting. If you manually move the beater very slowly down towards it’s contact point, the switch should click when the beater tip is about 1/2” to 1” above the bracket. If it is triggering closer to the bracket than that, you may be seeing double hits due to the beater head bouncing up slightly on impact. To fix that you can use a wrench to turn the nut on the left side of the pedal very slightly counter-clockwise until the hit occurs at the right time. The other possibility is if you press the beater very hard into bracket and then release, it triggers another hit on the release. If that is the case, then it may be triggering too early and you need to rotate the nut clockwise. If you’re still having troubles, you can return the pedal to us for service.
